Thirteen Things before June 13th

While at my internship at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art this gloomy and cold morning I thought of a fun story pitch for the Daily Emerald. As graduation nears rapidly, I was brainstorming of how I can increase student visitation to the museum. So I thought if someone created and published a list of things that every UO senior should do around campus/Eugene before graduation, they could include visiting the art musuem on that list. However, this idea got me to thinking of what other things would go on this list? Would visiting Pre's Rock or sitting on the patio of Rennie's make it on that list? So I thought that "Thirteen things a UO senior should do in Eugene before June 13th," would make a great story pitch for our campus newspaper for their graduation issue.

This also got me to thinking about the thirteen things that I HAVE TO do before June 13th... Here comes the list!

1. Eat at Uly's taco stand (i hear raving reviews from my roommate!)
2. See a movie at the Bijou
3. Get a slice of pie from the pie lady at the Saturday Market
4. Have a Rennie's lemonade
5. Take a picture with the Oregon Duck!
6. Run through Hendrick's park
7. Go to the spring football game
8. Hike Spencer's butte
9. Visit Pre's Rock
10. Have the tomato soup from the Glenwood
11. Sit on the patio of Taylor's for an entire day (I know, but it must be done!)
12. Buy a comic book from Frog
13. Buy a giant Oregon sticker from the Duck Store (so I can remember my days here forever!)

Sad... I was kind of hoping that June 13th, 2009 would take much longer to get here but all good things come to an end, unless I decide to switch my major now ( I have always wanted to be a brain surgeon so that will give me - oh give or take - another 10 years of schooling!)
